Poker tourneys between August 31 and September 6
The U.S is seeing an influx of casino tournaments starting with August 31st and ending with September 6th.
Labour Day $500K Deepstack Poker is set to kick-off in Ohio, California is featuring some big events, and other states are also catching up on the Poker tournament extravaganza.
This year’s Labour Day $500K Deepstack Poker Tournament is set to last from September 1st to the 7th. 5 No-Limit Hold’Em event and one Pot-Limit Omaha events will be featured at the tourney. Players interested in signing up will have to pay a fee between $300 and $1500 depending how many events they want to take part in. The Main event is $1500.
The prize pools for the No-Limit events are around $25,000; quite a bit of cash to be won, including the share resulting from the $50,000 pot from Omaha. The Main event is still the main attraction, will last for four days and is predicted to yield a pot of $500,000.
Another tournament, starting September 2nd and ending September 20th, is the Commerce Poker Series in California. Also with one Pot-Limit Omaha event but with 10 No-Limit Hold’Em events, this tourney also boasts a Main Event prize pool of $500,000.
The Heartland Poker Tour will be seeing in Black Hawk Colorado starting with September 4th. The Main Event is to last all 6 days and the No-Limit Hold’Em only 3. With a lower entry fee, around $160 for two events, Heartland will most likely be seeing a lot of entrants this year. The Main Event is a bit more pricey with a fee of $1,650, and it will end on September 14th.
The Pala Poker Open in California will kick-off in Pala, of course. This tourney will last from September 4th to the 13th and will feature no less than 8 No-Limit Hold’Em events. The buy-in price is $1,100 and the pool will be $100,000.
